Disclaimer and Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to everyone who uses AgentScore. By creating an account as a customer, or by submitting a request to claim or be listed as an agent, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and to the rest of this page. If you do not agree, do not create an account or submit a claim.

We may update these terms. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of these terms and may ask you to accept the new version before you continue.

You must be at least 19 years old (the age of majority in British Columbia) to create an account. Give us accurate information, keep access to the email address you sign up with, and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under it.

We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.

Signing in lets you view sold and purchase listing details for your own research. Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell or republish this data, do not use automated tools to access it, and do not use it to send unsolicited marketing to agents or to the public.

Counts, rankings and statistics are descriptive only. See the sections above for how the data is sourced and its limits. AgentScore is not a brokerage and does not provide real estate, legal or financial advice.

If you submit a request to claim a profile, you confirm that you are the licensed real estate professional named on it, or are authorised to act for them, and that everything you submit is accurate. You must provide a working email address and phone number. We confirm both, and we review each claim by hand before approving it. We may approve, reject or revoke a claim at our discretion.

Only one account can hold a claimed profile. If a profile has already been claimed, you can report the claim to us and we will review it.

Claimed profiles allow customers to connect directly with the agent through AgentScore. By claiming a profile you agree to be contacted this way. Receiving leads through AgentScore is free for now. This is subject to change: referral fees or other terms about leads may be added in the future. Any new terms will be shown to you, and you must accept them before they apply to you.

AgentScore helps customers find and contact agents. We are not a party to any agreement between you and an agent, and we do not supervise or endorse any agent. You are responsible for choosing whether to work with an agent and for checking their licence and terms.

To run the service we may record that a customer connected with an agent through AgentScore.

We collect the name and email you give us when you sign up, a record of when you agreed to these terms, and, for agent claims, a phone number and the details needed to review the claim. We use them to run accounts, prevent abuse, review claims, connect customers and agents, and contact you about the service. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in.

AgentScore is provided as is. We do not guarantee that the data is complete, accurate or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on what you see here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
